RETURNS: Equipment may not be returned for warranty or credit without our authorization number clearly labeled on the outside of the shipping carton. Authorization numbers are available from the main office. Any returned equipment which is to be credited against your account must be returned in like new condition. A 20% restocking and testing fee will be charged for non-defective returns to be credited to your account. Returns for non-defective merchandise will not be accepted after 60 days. We at Computer Security Products, Inc (CSP) are committed to your privacy and your trust in us. As such, we would like to let you know exactly how important it is for us to keep your information private, what information we have and why, and the methods we use to protect that information.
The information we collect:
During the course of your shopping experience with us, we collect personal information required to process orders such as your Name, Company Name, and Shipping information. Shipping information is never given to any other company except as required for shipping purposes (UPS or other freight companies). Credit card numbers are split in half, encrypted, and stored on two separate systems in different locations (yes, it’s overkill, but we are a security company after all). Your email address is required as a login name (you’ve got enough login names to remember already…), and so we can send you information about your orders if necessary. We do not use your email as a matter of course to send promotional material unless it has a significant impact on something you usually purchase (and the last time we did that was about 2 years ago). We will NEVER sell your email addresses to any other company for any reason.
Cookies:
Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored on your computer to allow our web site to track which computers accessing our site are doing which things. This is required for our shopping cart to store things for you as you browse the site, but cookies do not contain any personal information about you.
